I took the boring but fast N3 and R59 route to Deneysville. Coming back, was a bit more scenic - via the R549 to Heidelberg and then short stretch of N3. About 70 - 80km dirt alongside the R21, along the railway line to Bapsfontein - tar towards Delmas and then dirt again along the railway line towards Cullinan. Onto the R104 past Riverside Mixer and on to Foundry for breakfast. Was a good beginners ride and the confidence levels were definitively a lot higher on the second half of the ride.
