In Springbok you book in at the Springbok Lodge & Restaurant for R325-00 per couple and R200-00 single (this is in high season when the flower are there) Contact Jopie Kotze 0277121321 or sbklodge@intekom.co.za. There are chalets available and the price differ. From there the Kosibaai border post is 100 Km all nice tare roads. Sodwanabay is 650 Km from my house plus the 100 km to Kosibaai border post. The round trip is approx 1500 Km

There is a nice camping site just out of town called Meiringskloof.

Meiringskloof itself consists of self-catering sandstone chalets @ R240 and caravan/camping facilities located in a beautiful kloof surrounded by sandstone cliffs with open caves, thick indigenous bush and abundant bird life.

Camping is R70 per night (1vehicle included - maximum 6 persons per site) plus R15 per adult, R10 per child(4-16) and R30 per extra vehicle per night. Each site ...

It is located 10km from town, all tar roads. A magnificent six-arch sandstone bridge, built in 1881, now a National Monument, guards the entrance to the guest house, the self catering rooms were well appointed. Great place if you want to tour the Tiffendal area, off road or as an overnight stop over as I did.

We had a great home cooked breakfast before we left

This is one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed at - highly recommended.

The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and the hospitality is great. The owner/manager (Hannatjie) really goes out of her way to make you feel at home - to the extent of keeping restaurants open for you if you come in late.
