They have a product which they sell for +/- R3700 for 2 year cover.(depending on bike )

It was suggested that I should try Rayton or Cullinan test centres......

Puncture repair kit

Shortish tyre levers (think I’m going to struggle with the back tyre, especially without a centre stand!)

Inflator “bombs”

On longer trips I take along extra tubes as well

I have fixed a puncture before (front wheel), which wasn’t too bad! But I would rather do what I can to prevent punctures. The (extremely limited) precautionary measure I ...

Met my R1200RT het ek geglo in Bridgestone Battleaxe. Omdat veiligheid vir my belangriker is as geld het ek elke 10,000Km's 'n agterband vervang, alhoewel ek seker nog 'n 1,000 plus uit die band kon kry. Die voorband is elke 20,000Km's vervang.

Met my 800ST het ek weer geglo in Michelen Road Pilots. Agterband is vervang op so 15,000Km's.

I own a 2003 BMW F650 CS scarver. One of the most attractive sides to the bikes besides its fuel consumption is the futuristic ugly design. According to the designers, the bike was initially designed for city commuting and female riders. But BMW tried to create an eye catcher and "funky" motorcycle, with all kinds of practical accessories. I use the bike for that reasons, daily commuting. But for some reason this bike is totally unknown to the public. And everywhere I go people stop ...

(quite happy with my BMW though!)

* Who owned a similar 'solex bike' in years gone by?

* Do you need a license for this?
* What would the max speed of this help-my-trap be?

This spy shot of a BMW has started to surface with speculations that it might be a K1300 - speculations that I don't buy.

Methinks it's a prototype of sorts to test a mono front fork.

Now this is what would call very, very nice. According to MCN this will be Honda's all new V5 VFR1000 for 2009

VFR1000F

VFR1000GT

this has been a rumour for so long, I'll believe it when I see it.

Looks very convincing though

Viva Individuality Viva !

Especially for the GS Challenge, this frame is begging for a hot 1150 oil-head BMW motor...

Who says a BMW doesn't make a good basis for a nice clean chopper...?

An original '50s R25 single cylinder...

resurrected with a springer front end...?

or as a Caf'e racer...?

or beautifully restored to the other original white colour...?

If 8 cylinders are good then 12 cylinders are better, right? We showed you the BMW V8 motorcycle the other day and now we’ll show you what happens when someone takes a 5.5 liter BMW V12 and builds a drag bike around it. HMS Sportbikes, over in Germany, has been working on this project, taking the engine from a BMW 750i and creating something a little more sporting. They say it will have twin turbos and NOS but it looks to be a bit short of complete at this point.

I was in Cullinan over the weekend, and saw something I wish I could take a picture of - the guy passed me just to quickly. It was a Harley trike with a massive trailer and on the trailer was a beautifully adorned and crafted coffin!! If anyone sees this guy around, please take a picture and post it here.

Methinks the coffin was just a clever way of hiding his tools and spares for the Harley...

Hanging out other side of the equator (where the temperatures force you to go swim now and then!)

and here we see scooters of all sizes, colours and brands -

also riders with bikinis, t-shirts, high heels and skimpy dresses, but at least everyone wears a helmet.

Of course the best to see: all the BMW's - although not one 650 yet . . .

and the 800GS - I almost got on and went!

but notice the lock . .
