YEF: Badplaas - Arrangements

On behalf of Dorothy - the organiser and administrator of the Club's Year-end Function:

Venue:
Forever Resort in Badplaas.

Accommodation:
Because the resort does not offer single night accommodation over weekends, it will be a two-night weekend away trip.
Due to the resorts policies, those members wishing to come through for the Saturday night only, will still need to pay for two night’s accommodation.

Catering Arrangements:
A braai is being arranged for the Friday night at a cost of R100 per person.
If members choose not to participate in this activity, they will need to make their own dinner arrangements for the Friday evening.
The costs will be included in the overall payment due to be made to the Club for accommodation, the DJ hire, the awards dinner buffet, etc.
The official awards evening will consist of a buffet dinner at a cost of R145 per person on Saturday the 31st and will be held at the Bush Lapa in the game reserve.
A R10 fee per person will be payable in respect of the transfers with the game vehicle to and from the Lapa.
The costs will be included in the overall payment due to be made to the Club for accommodation, the DJ hire, the awards dinner buffet, etc.

Travel Arrangements:
The Rides Committee will confirm these details along with a route map closer to the date.

The resort offers an extensive range of leisure activities.

Booking & Payment Arrangements:
Bookings must be made directly with Dorothy either on Club nights (1st Friday of every month) or by contacting her at 082 339 514TWO or on her email at: dprins@microsoft.com.
A 25% deposit will be required with bookings, and effective from July onwards.
Full payment will be required by all members by 30 September as the Club needs to make final payment to the venue by 15 October.

Total Charges:
Accommodation + Club fee of R30 p.p. + R10 p.p. for Bush Lapa transfer + R145 p.p. for the official awards buffet dinner + Friday night braai at R100 p.p. if opted in.

Hi Guys and Gals...

At this stage, all new bookings must be paid up in full please.
I will be finalising the booking to Badplaas on MONDAY 28th and we will be paying Badplaas on 30th.
Any booking not paid up in full on or before Monday 28th will be forfeit and the booking will be given to any wait-listed people.
From 1st October, Badplaas will fill any unused booking from their own waiting-list. Any new booking after 28th September will have to book with Badplaas directly...!

Please get in and pay early...!

Friday 30 Nov: Depart from Atterbury Shell at 13h00 sharp. Via Hans Strydom, old road to Dronkwordspruit, N4 to Witbank, vanWyksdrif, Hendrina, Carolina to Badplaas - 272km

Saturday 1 Nov: Roundtrip for the day: Leaving Badplaas at 09h00 via Slaaihoek to Machadodorp for brunch/lunch and then Carolina to Badplaas. - 230km for the day. Cannot be too long on the road as we have to be back at the resort to see how the Bulls retain the cup

Sunday 2 Nov: Leave Badplaas at 09h30 sharp for a scenic ride home via Queen's River, Nelspruit, KaapseHoop. - 454km

We have tried to include as many twisties as possible - for all to enjoy!
